We are seriously considering building a WF oven in Longwood, Fl. Seminole county. We bought the blocks for the foundation, the concrete to level the slab, and then did what we should have done first - called the county. A permit is required in Seminole county. My question is this: Has anyone done this in Seminole county and how difficult was it to work with the county? There are no specific outdoor kitchen codes, but there are codes regarding wind etc. We were thinking that a simple, hand drawn plan showing a concrete pour to level the existing concrete patio, reinforced, then a block corner unit foundation with poured cells would come under the code guidelines. Then additional structure plans as best we could from the Pompeii FB plans. Any thoughts?.. or is back to Home Depot with all of the supplies.
