Hello forumites,
Long time no see. I built an oven with the great inputs of many here, finished it late 2020. Meanwhile I continued building a timber frame hut around the oven, which now is my home office/guest bedroom/man cave.
When firing the oven sometimes I leave it, and I want to make a screen that reduces risk when leaving the oven for a while. I'm sure there are many ways to do this, for example repurposing a bbq screen cutting it so it follows the shape of the door and put a couple of feet on either side so it can stand by itself.
It could be welded relatively easily I guess, although my limited stick welding skills might not work for delicate welding like this.
I wanted to see if anyone here has any such safety screen and how you made it and what it looks like.
