  • Dog house enclosure venting. Electric fan?

So I’m about to start the framing of my enclosure. My plan is to use metal studs for the main structure with cement board on the sides for stone veneer. The roof will be plywood with a membrane under a metal roof. The roof will be pitched and overhung on all sides with ridge, soffit, and gable venting and include flashing and drip edges. We will have electricity there for a wall sconce. How crazy would it be to install a small electric fan inside the enclosure that I could turn on the day before firing to dry out humidity? And maybe a socket for a halogen lightbulb for a mild heat source? I’m confident rain mitigation will be fairly good but it’s very humid here in the Mid-Atlantic which seems like it would keep everything damp inside. Of course this would require a small access door on the rear that might be another avenue for moisture penetration.
