We are almost ready to start stucco'ing the igloo style pizza oven. We need to modify the Casa2G 110 a bit for our installation (see picture)
Since our oven is within 10 feet from our house (in the place of old hot tub), we need to vent the chimney > 2 feet from the roof which would be about 20 feet of chimney vent piping. In addition we were going to build a patio roof over the oven so that we are not hindered by the rain in winter. My husband is planning on buying Duratech 8" double walled (due to the patio roof) stainless steel chimney which costs ~$1700 (5 4 foot sections, etc).
Could we go with 6" double wall instead? It could be as much as 20% cheaper. However, we are not sure if it will cause any problems.
