Adding a chimney cap to Primavera70

I have a Primavera70 oven in the back yard. Wondering if anyone has installed any type of chimney cap. North Carolina summers tend to have late afternoon / evening pop up storms. I don't want to get a down pour on an exposed oven that's heating up (lots of water down the chimney would be bad, I think). Should I put some type of chimney cap? Is this something to not worry about? Thank you,
