    Here is a nice Artigiano oven that Fired Up Kitchens just installed in LA. It's beautiful. From what I hear, the owner sits at night and watches the fire dance in the brick dome -- that's better than TV.

    There are two ways you can finish a real brick oven:

    1. Build the enclosure out front with a separate arch into the landing area (which is how this oven is finished).
    2. Attach the steel vent above the door and cover it with decorative material (stone, stucco, etc.) and leave the landing area in front of the oven completely open.
