hello,
I'm starting to build my oven and my plan is to place a rockwool board (5 cm thick) under the floor tiles as an insulation matirel. (insted of ceramic board).
I am not sure regarding its strangth and afraid that it will not hold the weight of the oven that will be built above it.
The store that sold me this board says that it should be allright and this matiral can hold the high heat and the weight without crumbeling or deforming.
I would like to hear your expiranced opinions and if someone tried this matiral as a floor insulation?
