Hi guys - long term lurker here in the midst of my first build. Getting started on the dome and entrance tomorrow.
I picked up a bag of heat cast 40 by accident last week. My question is if you guys think it would make a serviceable mortar for gluing together my firebrick(ala heatstop 50). I imagine it's not ideal, but does anybody know how bad it would be?
