Hi All,
It's finally time to start our oven. I have the the area prepared for base rock and the forms. I hope to pour on Saturday. My plan is to mix 60lbs bags. I have a mixer and 60lbs bags are just a bit easier for me to handle. The base is the standard 36" oven base which I believe works out to 37 bags.
My question is, how long would you expect the mix / pour to take? I'm guessing 1.5 - 2 hours. Is there a point where I need to worry about the concrete setting while I'm still pouring?
