confirmation on canadian products

hearth and stand just about good to go. Will pour the insulating concrete on the stand in a few days.My suplier here in canada does not have fireclay but has a product called "Bond Set Dry Mix" cures with air not heat. My question is if I use this for setting oven floor fire brick on the hearth do I add sand as the fireclay application suggested on this site. Also has anyone used this product and is it OK?
