Hi-
I have been working with a friend on my pompei 110 kit. Yesterday, I wasn't around when he was laying down the oven floor. Not knowing better (which is completely my fault) he filled in the spaces between the bricks with fire clay. Although it is a small amount (less than a 1/8" between bricks and no fire clay on the actual surface of the floor) it is in all the spaces in the floor. I know it is better to leave empty spaces between the oven tiles rather than to fill them in. Any recommendations? Is this bad enough that I should pull up the whole floor and start over? Should I try to scrape out the "grout" that lies between the bricks?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
