I got stuck in Boulder last weekend due to the storm in MN. The only good thing was it afforded me a chance to try pizza. Apparently it's a mecca for WFO pizza.
Pizzeria Basta
Excellent food (using local and seasonal when possible) and atmosphere. They are doing other entrees in the WFO. (Roasted chicken was great!)
Laudusio
Big restaurant. May have been the best pizza I've ever had )in the short time I've been paying more attention.) It was like a thin piece of bread with toppings... very good from the first bite. Almost had 2, as the Margherita was on the happy hour list.. only $5!!
Pizzeria Locale
Thy try to keep it authentic as they don't cut your pie at all.
Bop Pizzeria
They had something called a Mezza Luna (half calzone-half pizza). The calzone had a nice ricotta with Italian pepperoni in it.
A couple more that I didn't make it too..
Pizzeria De Lupo (on Arapahoe)
The Mediterranean (on Walnut)
Trattoria on Pearl (on Pearl)
I think there's a couple in Denver and another in Louisville (or Lafayette) too.
