If you happen to visit Sacramento, CA, you HAVE to stop by Pizza Rock on K Street. The pizzas are AWESOME!
They have 2 ovens, one wood-fired and one gas-fired. The wood-fired is a Cirigliano Forni Oven, and it's kept in full blast during business hours.
My family and I stopped by for the first time this weekend (it's a new establishment, so this was our first time trying it out), and the pizzas were amazing! I strongly recommend the New Yorker pizza. Lots of Napolitana style pizzas to choose from...
The wait is a little long (30 mins for us), but it was expected as the place was packed (i.e. word is out that this place is good!!!).
