Like many restaurants in Eastern European cities, this one is also underground - with stone walls and vaulted ceilings. Great character.
The pizza was pretty good; they have a WFO which I saw, although I couldn't identify the make/model except to say it was covered in red and green mosaic. (The owner didn't seem to know, either.)
Sadly though, it was running on gas that night; the owner explained that the council would not permit the burning of wood (although I don't know if that is true all the time).
There was another pizza restaurant nearby which we didn't have time to go to - called Gelsomino - but I clearly saw through the window a Valoriani oven! (I presume this would have been gas-fired, too.)
Pity.
