I put mine in the WFO on a sheet of baking paper. Oven is hot enough next day or two to do the trick.

I never reheat my pizza I prefer leftover pizza cold. I have since I was young, and now at work it means I don't need to be in line for the microwave at lunch time.

Pan medium temp in between low and high. The cheese on top melts from the heat that came up through the bottom up through the pizza to the top.

I need some more details, pan temp particularly and how the cheese becomes melty with no over head heat?

For me its heat the plate 1 min microwave
Then put the pizza on it 12/15 seconds
Its not hot just room temp like a good breakfast pizza should be.

I use the toaster oven too, but a little differently

Put the pizza on the rack, turn temperature to 500, and the pizza is hot and crispy about when the bell rings to tell me that the oven is at temp

Make use of a toaster oven. Two cycles of oven if the pizza is instantly from the fridge. If it is in larger amount, heat a foil-lined sheet oven until hot.

Showing off, Cobblerdave?... Sigh...maybe mine will stay warmer as time goes by. Thanks for the tip re the soot being an indication of dampness!
Back to the question, I reheat on a pizza pan with holes (so it gets crispy) in the oven at about 350. No microwave, gets too soggy!

    Gudday
I love to put a slice back in the oven first thing in the morning. You could probably do the same in the kitcken.... but its great to head into the garden in the early morning. A bit cold but. Crack the door of the oven open ...big rush of heat in your face.. through the slices in on a tray. And just wait for them to heat. Just you ....a cup of coffee... the early light...the re-heated pizza slices are just a added bonus....

    Regards Dave

Using a microwave on FULL will turn your crust to leather, but if you increase the time and reduce the power to around 50%, it is almost as good as straight out of the oven.

I usually put it in the microwave for about 45 seconds. I wouldn't call it good, but it is definitely edible.
