Pizza Stone and Peel (Australia)

For Aussies wanting to get started baking on a pizza stone, I found this very good starter kit today:

Barbeques Galore - Products - Bar-B-Chef Pizza Sto

It includes the stone and fold up, stainless steel peel. It is designed for a BBQ (but I don't think it will produce as good a pizza on a BBQ as it would in a conventional stove).

All up $39.

Not a bad outlay and the peel is particularly well designed so as to get inside the electric oven easily (short handle).

I think this is another one of the thin stones, which I find don't last. The peel look OK though.

Yes, since seeing this kit I read a review from someone saying that because the peel has slits in it, the dough sagged through the holes making it difficult to get off when placing raw dough in the oven. Just something to think about before buying.
