Hi, I'm lookin to make pita style flatbreads. I want them to puff up a little so I can cut them and stuff them with ingredients. Should I just follow the pizza dough sticky? Will this make a suitable dough for these?

Old thread i know. I put down a piece of dough without toppings and it puffed up very similar to a pita. Would have been easy to stuff. Sorry, can;t tell you the recipe since we just wing it each time. Another type of bread you could research is turkish Pide, it's sort of the intermediary between full arabic pita, and italian pizza. Lots of recipes online

Might be old but I'm still looking yes, I have a recipe for Turkish pide which I intend making. I lived in Berlin in the 90s and they make doner kebabs with it there, lovely stuff. There's a guy on YouTube who has a series of videos called Ahmed kocht (Ahmed cooks) and he makes Fladenbrot which the called it. I'll be trying that next
