The mother of all pizza on Mothers Day. Finally beautiful weather with family. This is why my brother and I spent 196hrs building our WFO from the ground up. The joy you get watching everyone eat, ooh and ahh is what its all about. That day we made 6 large pies for 10 people. octopus, hot pepper, broccoli and sausage, prosciutto with home made roasted peppers and bocconcini, meatball for the kids, and eggplant. For those that are thinking of building one, DO IT. It is what brings family and friends together.

Re: Mothers Day Pizza
18"-20". Cut it into 12 pieces. I have gotten wiser; I always take the first piece so I don't go hungry. Made the mistake one mild winter. I kept prepping the pies inside and running out to cook them and then back inside with the finished pie. At the end of making all of them when I got in they had about 3 pieces saved for me. NICE. Ended up scrounging for the bones (crust).

Re: Mothers Day Pizza
LOL. I actually save the best pie for last when everyone is full haha. It used to be that I would make one pie after another.; crank them out every couple of minutes. Now what I do is make a pie and then sit down with a home made glass of wine and have a slice with the guests. Prolongs the eating experience that way.
