About to install a WFO in Wollongong

Hi All,
I am about to embark on the WFO adventure and thought I would introduce myself and share the trip with you all. Not sure at this stage whether to go for a kit or build it from scratch. I have the Forno Bravo plans but was unsure what the cost difference is between a sratch build and a kit and if there is an advantage one way or the other, apart from the ' I built it myself' grin?

Impressive build you have there!
Has anyone used HEBEL as a base instead of the vermiculite concrete? Just curious as I can get hold of some.
