Where to find fire clay

Greetings all,
I am trying to find where I might be able to get some fire clay from in NSW. I'm in Wollongong so a trip to Sydney to pick some up isn't an issue, but where to get it from is. Any help greatly appreciated.

You can get real fire clay from pottery suppliers. I get mine from Claypave in Brisbane. If you want to go cheaper you can try a Cement Australia product called Briclayers Clay (fire clay) It is not true fireclay, but I believe it is quite suitable for the temperature range we fire our ovens in. You should be able to obtain it locally and save yourself a lot in freighting a one off item.
