  • New year greetings

    Happy New Year to all.

New years eve was a quiet family night at home with the intention of firing up the oven for a Roast rolled loin of Pork, but alas with a total fire ban with extreme fire danger, we opted for a BBQ instead.

Celebrated the evening by opening my last magnum bottle of Coopers Limited Edition Sparkling Ale 2009. Boy was that fantastic . Over 4 years in the bottle to age, wish I had more. ): Might have to take back my sons bottle that I gave him

Have a safe and prosperous 2014.

    Happy WFO'ing

    Cheers

    Re: New year greetings

Thanks Craig - Happy New Year from sunny Queensland.

A quiet NYE = starting 2014 feeling fresh and well. I bet that the Coopers was a fine drop. My tipple was a home brewed dark brown beer. It too was prime.

My goal for 2014 is to be as happy as my cat - to be half as spoiled might be too much to ask.

I hope you all find peace, happiness and prosperity in this increasingly disturbed world. Happy 2014.
    Cheers ......... Steve
