    Anybody heard from Brickie lately ?

    Hi all ya'll Down Under,
    Anybody heard from Brickie lately? It's not like Allan to stay away from the forum this long. Even when he goes to the outback, he usually stays connected by phone.

    I've been thinking the same thing. His last post from 1/7 was a bit snarky (even by Brickie's standards) I wonder if he ran amok with the powers that be on this forum. Miss his input and candor though.

      He's probably on a trip and out of range.
      In Australia if you don't have a satellite phone much of the outback is not covered by the normal network.

        Brickie has always announced when he's to go bush. So that's out of character.
        I like to think he must be just taking a sabbatical from the forum.
        But..... I hope that he or his own are not sick..., that's the worry

          I got a reply to a pm that I sent to Al!

          He is OK .

          He is Just taking a breather from the forum. Hopefully, it will be a short one. There are lot's of "pioneers" on this site who only occasionally chime in.

          As "addictive" as this forum is, I can understand Brickie's point. After a while, you begin to figure out just how much time from each day it takes to keep "paying it forward".

          I think that we will hear from Al on occasion. Hell, I'll probably get my blls busted, just any day now for starting this thread .

                I was out shopping the other week and actually saw brickies truck parked outside a shop and hunted him down Had a short yarn and left him be.
                Hope those fish n chips went down well Al.
