Do Aussies like ovens more than others, or do we just talk more?

I noticed on the thread counts that the Australia forum has more than 4 times the number of the next lowest region, and more than all the others combined! Does that mean that we like building ovens, or just that we like talking about it more ;-)

Cant tell you why.
But this is a Nth American based site. The regional forums are in 8 parts, 4 of which are The US. The remainder of the world use the other 4 of which Australia has a full one. Punching above our weight I say.
We certainly build a lot of ovens rather than buying pre builds if you look through there is only 1 pre build in the Aust section, that I can think off.
The expense of transport you'd think, but we seem to be able to source and get firebrick somehow.
Whatever the reason, Id hope that we add to forum in our builds and participation

I dunno. It seems...very Aussie. I mean, who wouldn't want to talk about building stuff, cooking, drinking, eating, enjoying good times in the back yard.

This forum is like a virtual shed where guys can meet up and shoot the breeze (which is American for talking shit).

I've taken notice to the number of Aussie builds. I think if you could do a "oven-per-capita" analysis, you would find the Aussie number to be much higher than the states.

My experience with Aussies has been that they are genuine and very resourceful people...who work very hard and party even harder.
