I bought these firebricks from Littlehampton bricks to use for my base at the ridiculous price of $6/brick......good old Adelaide.....
I explained I needed bricks for the base and being late on a Saturday I quickly grabbed what I needed. Not having seen many firebricks before when I unloaded these I'm now a bit concerned they're a bit on the rough side of things......
Looks like they are wire cut so some are a little wavy and there's a reasonable amount of pitting. Now I understand a lot of this will fill with ash and become flat and perhaps I'm being too worried about it?
Was keen to get this project moving along but maybe I should save these for the dome and look for an alternative source?
