The best alternative for CF board/blanket?

Hi, everyone.
I am from Serbia and am trying to build a Pizza oven. The base and concrete floor are already built, so next come: insulation under the floor, fire brick floor,dome,insulation of the dome etc.... The problem is that Ceramic Fibre Boards (and blankets) are very expensive for our (serbian) pockets. So, my question is: is there and what is the best alternative for CF boards/blankets ( under and around the dome insulation)? Thank you in advance.

The cheapest and best alternative is either perlite or vermiculite mixed with cement. It is widely available as it is used extensively by plant nurseries.
Usually mixed 5:1 for the insulating slab under the floor and if you are building an igloo style, 10:1 over the dome. If you are planning to build an enclosure around the dome instead of an igloo, it is best to fill over the dome with loose (dry) vermiculite or perlite.
