Anyone know where I can find medium duty firebricks in CT/NY? Forno Bravo plans define this as appx 38% alumina. I have only been able to find low duty at ~28% alumina? Otherwise if not avail, can I compensate for the lower alumina content? thx

Welcome to the forum. There have been a lot of ovens built since the early days of the forum. Many (if not most) have been built with the low/minimum duty firebrick. Most brick yards stock only what is required for residential fireplaces. They will work just fine for your oven.
