Yeah, we're here. Just finished an installation of an Artigiano as part of a covered outdoor patio. Haven't fired it up yet, but getting set to cure it asap.

      Dave,

Do you know a supplier for fireclay here locally? or Heat Stop mortar?
      Thanks

There's a brick place in south salt lake, on main or west temple as I recall. They had firebrick and I think heat resistant mortar, but I'm not sure. I'll think on it some more and see if I can remember anything else.

          Derk,

I checked everywhere, and so did my mason. The best we could find was low-duty and they didn't even have them in stock. I've found a distributor for blanket insulation, but the prices were significantly more than FB. I finally gave up on sourcing materials locally and ordered the Pompeii kit from FB. Lehi will soon have its first Pompeii WFO.

            Derk,

Somehow I missed your post. There are actually several ovens in Utah. I know this doesn't help you, since you already bought the kit (which is what I would do if I were doing it again), I bought my firebrick from Lehi Block, although they only carry splits the last time I asked. I bought more from Beuhner Block in SLC. I was not successful in finding any mortar, so I bought HS 50 from the manufacturer. They gave me a pretty good price. I still need to finish the exterior. Once we started cooking in it, the urgency to make it look good went way down.

If anyone needs any fire clay let me know. I have a bag and a half I'll let go for cheap.
