We had a bad firing with wet firewood and particular difficulty getting floor as hot as usual .
can the floor bricks adsorb considerable moisture or was it mostly the wood?
cap was on oven during storm..
How about having a cover for whole Primavera stove?

    Hi Judy,

Welcome to the forum. An oven can take on moisture when not in use. Both a damp oven and wet wood can be a problem.

Forno Bravo sells covers for the Primavera 60 and 70

More importantly ,if the AlSi insulation under the Forno Bravo ovens gets wet then the oven floor will not heat up. This is one of the most common problems with poor floor temps. A picture of you set up would help us see the the issue. Water on the hearth can migrate into the floor insulation fairly easily.
