Dead Rosemary Bush.

We had a rosemary bush die on us in the garden, before I noticed it was dead it was dry and crisp.

I saved the dead bush to use for lighting the fire only to find out that the whole bush smells or rosemary when burnt, how cool is that?

A good smoking wood for lamb maybe?

Hi Brickie,

I'm told that Greek sheep herders, would sometimes slaughter a lamb and bind wild rosemary around the whole lamb and slow roast. I've been using rosemary as a smoking source for years to smoke meats and poultry, fantastic smoked turkey is unbeatable.

I sometimes like to throw on a few rosemary stalks on the coals just for the aroma.
