  • Pulled Chicken - anyone done that?

I am looking to do pulled chicken, for a meal as we are watching our weight

Any suggestions? Or just coat the chicken in a rub that would be used on pulled pork and cook it the same length?

My wife would also like a sauce with it, but we would substitute sugar for honey, any thoughts on that??

    Any ideas???
Where can I find logs? I need more!
Finishing the WFO will come after the barn is completed http://flinthousebarn.co.uk/

    Hello UK
Chicken gets extremely dry when cooked for a long period of time due to the lack of fat. Whole chickens smoked at 250*F take around 4 hrs and whole pork butts probably in the 12 to 16 hrs.

If I where going to make pulled chicken I would roast whole chickens or just thighs that had been rubbed good with a spicey rub, then cook in my WFO. When finished shred all meat by hand and lightly sauce with a honey based BBq sauce and put on a fresh baked roll. Yum
