  • Garlic, Rosemary Olive Oil

    One more thing!

We put 7-8 whole cloves of garlic and a sprig of fresh rosemary in olive oil and put it at the opening of the oven to make a really nice flavored olive oil. The garlic went brown to give it a nice toasty flavor.

Then, we poured the oil on the flat bread for dinner. Nice.

i've made similar oils before, by putting garlic and herbs or hot peppers in olive oil in an old wine bottle and either steeping them cold for a few weeks, or placing them on the shelf atop of the gas oven in the kitchen, which speeds up the process a bit.
