  • Protective Cover - TBird 20 QT Mixer

I had been on the lookout for some time for a suitable cover to protect my newly acquired TBird mixer. It was an odd shape so this didn't make finding one very easy. Eventually one day whilst I was in the local hardware store (Bunnings) and I found a Weber BBQ cover that was ideal and for only $7.

The design is for a round object but because the mixer has bits sticking out the side this makes it a perfect shape for putting onto the mixer. Additionally it has an elastic section at the bottom so the cover pulls in against the body of the mixer to prevent dust etc getting inside.

    Hey Rossco,
I just fling over a thin part bed sheet over my two mixers and all is fine. Occasionally the wind blows it off and I simply put it back over!

Yes I started with some "bedding" too - see it in the background of the pic.

Wasn't quite right so decided to splash out on the real deal!! I know I'm a squanderer ...but ... ;-))
