Here is a new recipe on Pane Pugliese, a wonderful Italian rustic bread. From the south of the country, it is now a very popular bread throughout Italy and is even making in-roads into the local markets in Tuscany. More hearty than a Ciabatta, as Jim says, it could become your favorite.
