I'm sure some of the members here have tried this but who knows maybe we've all been consumed with pizza that the simplest & most obvious has been overlooked.

Trying to increase the versatility of my oven I have now begun using my dough to make sandwiches. I stretch it like a pizza but then throw it in to bake on both sides. I slice in half & then stuff each "pocket" with sandwich and even breakfast fillings.

Yes, when we get away from the purist approach pizza dough makes half decent flat bread and is quite versatile.

You are probably on the money about us being consumed. I seldom make pizza but use my oven every week for a few days once it is hot it takes little to keep it saturated and little to get it up to high temps again.
    Cheers ......... Steve

Great idea, I'll be giving it a try.

Yes, just like a pitta pocket, beautiful if you have some salad and pulled pork - all done in the WFO.
Where can I find logs? I need more!
Finishing the WFO will come after the barn is completed http://flinthousebarn.co.uk/
