Thanks for answering. Just checked - don't think I will be able to fit the chicken through the door, but will have a go - even if it means struggling to make it stand.

Quick question. How long should I wait after making pizzas to begin to cook a beer can chicken? Just a rough guide.

It all depends on your oven and how quickly it cools down, all ovens cool at different rates.

Id be getting a thermometer in there and when the oven is around 250 to 300C chuck the chook in.
