  • Prepping for the 4th of July Feast - PIG ROAST!!

We are having about 50 people over for the 4th of July! So lots of cooking activity going on here today. Made 3 batches of dough. Prepped the pizza toppings fryed bacon, cooked onions and mushrooms in the bacon grease. Beans are soaking for the baked beans, cabbage and carrots are shredded for the cole slaw.

Most importanly the pig is on the fridge!!! Along with the beef brisket and fresh ham. I think we are going to roast the pig on the WFO and fire up the smoker for the fresh ham and beef brisket!!

Whats everyone else doing for the 4th??

little late, but... we did Ribs, chicken, Pizza (of course) Dirty steak, Dirty Hot dogs for the kids, and for Dessert we made Nutella and Fluff in wrapped in dough, It was like the best Giant smore you ever had. Eveyone left too full to walk and i never turned on my gas grill...The first time that ever happened on foruth of july,, But I still feel American !!!
