  • Roast Duck Recipes?

    I want to roast one for Christmas. Anybody have a good recipe?

      Here is my roasted duck recipe:

      Cook a nice rice pilaf.

      Throw the duck away and eat the rice pilaf.

          I used to cook Duck working in restaurants. We would remove the thigh, wings, and the drumsticks and braise them in either duck stock or red wine. The rest we would roast on fairly high heat (like 400f) for about 10 minutes. Duck is really good medium rare.

          Try reducing pomegranate juice and serve as a sauce or add to a sauce, yum!

          I love duck, I just can't convince my wife to eat it. Would be great done on a low fire in the WFO. Duck is really messy because the fat spatters everywhere, not a problem in our ovens though!

            I love to eat roasted duck also, its good to know that you also like, but choice of every one is different with the foods they like you cant change that but only try to convince them.
            duck with wine is delicious.
