Our oven got water in this wet winter - so we finally got round to firing it up ....I have been waiting for hubby to make the chimney higher so as not to bother the people in the apartment above us ... I bet I have the highest chimney of all forum members!! (will take a pic)
We managed to heat it for pizzas but the floor of the oven didn't get quite hot enough - the pizzas weren't our best! BUT we decided to make chicken on a beer can - this is quite an operation for us because the door isn't big enough. With many wet tea towels wrapped around our hands we finally got the chicken in without disaster. Closed the door and after 1hr - see the results!!!
