  • My First Paella

Although not involving my WFO, I do notice that there is a cadre of paella fans on this forum. My 2 year old bought me a paella pan for Christmas this year (OK, I bought it, wrapped it, and put it under the tree for her to give to me!) and we had company this weekend so I decided to give it a try! We liked it so much, I made another yesterday.

I used clams, mussels, chourico, chicken, shrimp, scallops, red peppers, green beans (and of course lots of tomato, onions, and garlic)

    Re: My First Paella

    Hey Joe,

    I am inspired!

The paella has been on my list for a time... It looks like great food, and fun to make..

A couple of the guys have gone so far as t build specific paella cooking fire boxes or burners, and they look like great projects also.

But first, successfully making the meal, and your photo is appetizing!

Oooh, that looks wonderful - bet it tasted great!
I got a paella pan back in September, still thinking I had all the time in the world ... now, having waited too long, I'll have to wait a few more months for the warmer weather.
