well you bettered my effort Jim,
2 loaves of sourdough breads, 2 of multigrain, a half dozen short bread sticks, a lamb roast and for sweets was a rhubarb rollie pollie (like a sweet and sour fruit pie swimming in syrup.
I am not happy with the breads, OK they tast alright but are too heavy for my liking, consequently no pics.

Re: A nice Full Day's use of the Oven

We had the same issues with both breads...the two loaves of WFO wheat did not spring much but they tasted great.

A second batch of breads crashed...the baguette dough was so flat that we tried stirring in some more yeast...that worked overnight to bring it some life but since we waited a day we had to put it in the conventional as hot as we could make it with steam. Better spring but still somewhat flat in profile...again tasty...better ingredients? better bread!

I crashed a bread last week by knocking the brotform on the counter when I tried to put it on the peel. It was soo sad to watch my lovely bread deflate like the wicked witch of Oz. It tasted ok, though. Just lacking the volume I wanted.

On the upside, I did a Pain 'd Aranciene last week that had holes you could put a quarter through. No changes from normal routine. Sometimes things just work.
