  • Gold hunting.

I went out to a spot yesterday that I frequent hunting for gold, they said that it was going to be about 30 degrees c, but it topped 35.... it was way too hot, with more on the way.
I had intending spending two night but I high tailed it out of there at 3 am this morning, just after the Koalas started fighting.

Its a 3 hour trip both ways, but when the weather is kind its well worth the effort.

            Brickie,
Thank's for the update for those of us who are having to work! The outback must be a really great place to get a way from it all . The mental pictures that I got from the pic of the clothes on the bank and Lauretius' "dangling participle" comment has left me not wanting cackle berries for, I think a long while, though .
Glad, that you are having a great time!

There is always gold taken from the creek in Beechworth, tiny bits, its minute stuff, plenty of black sands too.

The other good thing about this creek is the fact that every gemstone except emerald can be found in it.

Not this time, we have stopped there before though, I heard something about the owners going broke and having to sell it, it was never the same after.

Ok, my bad, but why the angry face?

If it is still the same owner then something did change some time ago to turn the bakery in to just another ordinary bakery.

Probably tourism, greed and franchising it tends to kill the love.
