My New Build - Almost Done

I've been working on putting my Casa2G100 in for quite some time now...seems like forever ago when I laid the first CMU! Wanted to put an update out there since we're about 95% of the way done. Here's the details...pics following.

---Engine Casa2G100
---Add-on of 3 additional inches of dome insulation (Ceramic blanket)
---Add-on of 2 additional inches of hearth insulation (Ceramic Fiber board)
---Covered patio - vented through roof with double wall stainless chimney

I did everything except the brick work on the outside...wanted to make it look pretty at least. I'm picking out the granite for the hearth extension and counter / prep area next to it, and will post the final pictures once all the stone and brick are up, and ceiling is stained.

A little bit of both! It's a covered patio attached off the kitchen. But the North and East walls are open to the outside.

I am complete, my oven is 4 days cured - I got it a bit hot on day two, but no visible cracks, and it was up to 950 last night and no visible cracking. Held at 640 when I woke up this morning. Looks like all the extra fiber insulation bottom and top is working well! I'm having my wife's uncle weld us an insulated door now...should be a beast at retaining heat.

That looks great. Your "oven-patio" is going to be the place to hang out during winter with the heat that the open oven will put out. Sounds like you insulated it well too.
