I hope you have some buttressing in mind for the arch with all that weight on it?

This great website from India will give you more than enough information about arches and loads.

Interesting, thanks. I hope it holds up, crossing fingers. The red bricks on the side may serve as buttressing no?

                  Correct......

You dont have enough buttressing to counter the weight of the chimney.
It may stay up, it may also come down, plan for it to stay up.

                  Edit:-
Looking at your arch line of thrust and referring to the website I posted, your arch is doomed to fail without adequate buttressing.

Ill see how it looks once i take out the entry/arch form. Typically if its was to not stay up how would it go down first, from the sides? pushing outward?

                      Thats the way arches go.
An arches job in life is to just lay flat, it wants to stretch out.
You, the oven builder, have to stop it from doing so.

So what kind of recommendation can you make?

Look at the website, you need to extend the forces of thrust somewhere, they just cant stop in mid air or the arch will fail.

Chimney and face is pretty much done, just need to fill out the corners.

Some more work done from the other day.

Im really loving these bricks. Minus the fact that all the bricks are different sizes. Wouldn't be surprised if they were hand made. For the installation of the brick we cut them in half, basically doubling the use of these bricks, so we installed them with thinset, we will go back and fill the gaps with mortar.

Removed the entry/arch form, need to fill in the gaps with fine sand.
