Re: Homemade Brick WFO
Gentlemen and Ladies,
I have not yet fired my "bricks". I have been drying them for quite a long time. I have encountered an interesting development. I have called Amaco concerning the "what temperature to fire to" question. The lady I talked to said technically none of the clay that they have has been tested for food safe as a bisque fired unglazed clay body. So I had a crazy thought....its the end of the school year....I have glaze that is left over and will go to waste over the summer anyway. Why not glaze fire the bricks???? Thoughts?
