  • One year in the making.

Started Sept, 2015, finished one year later. Build on the sweat and labour of all my talented construction Friends*. Construction shut down from Nov - Mar due to the Rainy Season.

    * Paid for the roofer and the stonemason.

    Local Squamish/Whistler basalt.

I am very pleased with the result.

Things I learned. When you fit the shell together, place the door enclosure in for fit. It's a bit tight and the Forno manual doesn't say anything about this.

Special thanks to Allan Hamm from Outdoor Pizza Ovens (Canada) who sold me the kit, and supporting frame, and guided me along the journey.

Great job Joe! Are you going to put in some pavers in front to keep out of the mud? Which forno bravo model & size is this? Looking forward to seeing some of your pizza & bake pics.
