    Re: Viewing Images

I've just tried again and I can see the thumbnail in a post made by James this morning but I still cannot see any thumbnails of Frances' chimney cap, from a few days ago!
I can't look more right now but ... you don't suppose those put up before a certain date are now gone for good ... do you???

      Re: Viewing Images

That would stink. I've been staring at this forum all winter, getting ideas. Now that the snow has melted, I can't see the images I needed. (First nice weekend in a long time!). Oh well, I'm certain James will take care of it.

Nothing is lost! It's a permissions issue that we are working on.

I don't get junk emails from this site at all. This is a great site, well supported and well managed.

Check your email spam filter, it may need upgrading.

                Re: Viewing Images

I too have wondered what was going on! But a little search will find this thread fortunately. Prior to checking this thread, I was trying to troubleshoot my end, and if it's any help, discovered that the linked images were 1px x 1px images provided by the FB server.

I'd be happy to help in any way I can... It really is difficult to follow the threads without inline images!

May be a related issue but I can't see Ken's updated video. Showing up on my side as a broken link.

Ahhhhh, you can do it arriflex!

I think we have fully completed the updates and got all the little kinks out. We should all enjoy better performance from the FB Forum and FB Store. Phew.

Does that mean we should be able to see the thumbnails? I am still unable to see any of them.

I agree. Old thumbnails are still not there.

                            Re: Viewing Images

Well, it works on Firefox on my Mac, but not on Safari or Webkit on the Mac. Tried it on the Win7, XP and Vista, doesn't work on Firefox, Explorer, or Chrome. Also tried it on Ubuntu with Firefox to no avail.
All computers behind the same firewall on a static netowork. Tried through a different ISP with a dynamic ip, with same results, Firefox on the Mac is the only success.

                            Hope that helps...

Unfortunately, I also use Firefox on a mac. No luck.

                                Re: Viewing Images

Can you let me know the pages where thumbnails aren't working. I have tested it with IE, Safari and Firefox on a Mac, and IE and Safari on a PC and it works here. I also tested it on Comcast and ATT 3G. I can click through the Photo Gallery and I see all the Avatars.

Let me know and I will get right on this.
