Hello Forum Members.
My name is Ken. I'm not a mason, and this is my first masonry oven.
However I am an engineer and machine builder with 50 years of experience.
We do product and manufacturing process development for large corporations.
We will be designing and building a wood fired bread oven in Oceanside just north of San Diego.
The interior dimensions of the hearth is 48 x 72.
Our objective is to make the design modular so we can assemble / disassemble with a forklift.
The base is a welded steel frame so that the unit will be stable enough to be moved on a flat bed truck.
I'm looking forward to learning from the experience of the forum members!
