Wood from Purple Leaf Cherry Plum Tree

I have some cut wood from a purple leaf cherry plum tree in my yard. I believe the scientific name is prunus cerasifera. I was wondering if this would be suitable to use in a wood fired oven.

Plum tree wood makes good pizza oven firewood. I burn plum, cherry and olive wood. Olive is by far the hardest and burns hottest, but plum and cherry works well too.
