  • Brick Chimney or Stucco Chimney Pipe?

Hey guys. On page 58 of the Pompeii plans Version 2.0, there are 2 pictures of igloo enclosure ovens. I prefer the look of the brick chimney. Looking at a picture of my oven how it looks today (attached), is there a way I can still do this with regular brick (not firebrick)?

If not, the picture on the left in the Pompeii plans shows a chimney pipe that has been stucco'd. Can someone explain to me the proper way to do this?

    Thank you so much!

PS - Just to clarify, in the picture of my oven, I am only doing an initial test fire. The anchor plate/chimney pipe has not been mortared in yet, but I was hoping to do it tomorrow.
