I'm building a Casa2G oven and am at the point where I need to address the roof and top of chimney. I have a 4 pitch (front to back) roof and a 24" single wall 6" SS chimney pipe coming up through the roof (with appropriate clearance).
I want to pass through a storm collar, then I presume go to double wall pipe on the exterior (or maybe not??), ending with a chimney cap.
So my two questions are: should I use double wall pipe on the outside run and if so, how do I mate 6" single wall pipe to double wall and where (in relation to the storm collar).
